Training Schedule

 Our classes emphasize positive communication.   We believe the better trained your dog is, the more they can do with his best friend: YOU!

Our Trainer: Marcia Albert - Marcia will work with you and your dog to make the training experience productive and fun!  Marcia's love of dogs and those who love them is evident in every class.  Marcia is also available for Private lessons - find out more about Marica here

We offer basic and advanced classes for Puppies and Adult Dogs. 

Cost:   

  • 4  week sessions: $90 ~ Pre-register and pay before the 1st class and save $10!
  • 2  week sessions: $50 ~ Pre-register and pay before the 1st class and save $ 5!

Puppy Kindergarten:   Designed for dogs 5 months and younger.   The focus is on socialization, manners and behaviour management.   You will learn the best way to get your dog to sit, lie down, wait and greet people politely.  Each session runs for four weeks.

  • Sunday, February 5th -- Noon - 1:00 PM; Skip Sunday, Feb. 19th
  • Tuesday, Feburay 7th -- 6:00 -  7:00 PM; Skip Tuesday, Feb. 21st
  • Sunday, March 11th -- Noon - 1:00 PM
  • Tuesday, March 13th -- 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Puppy Graduate:    Course for puppies under a year old that have completed puppy kindergarten.  You continue to develop skills taught in puppy kindergarten and we will cover leave it, stay and continue work on recall & loose leash walking.

  • Sunday, March 11th -- 1:00 - 2:00 PM

Adult Dogs:

Basic Manners Course for dogs over 5 months of age who have had no prior formal training, or dogs new to your household.  Emphasis is on basic commands & management.   

Class Start Date:

  • Wednesday, February 8th ----- 6:00 - 7:00 PM skip Feb. 22nd
  • Wednesday, March 14th -------6:00 - 7:00 PM

Reliable Manners:  Picks up where Basic Manners leaves off!  Emphasis is on being able to follow commands consistently even when there are distractions.  A good way to prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good CItizen Program.

  • Wednesday, March 14th --- 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Speciality Classes:  Basic obedience is a prerequisite for all speciality classes

Canine Good Citizen Prep:  Prepare your dog to pass the AKC Good Citizen test - this program certifies that your pet can consistently display good manners at home and in public.  Find out more at:  http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/program.cfm

Class Start Date:  To Be Determined - Give us a call if you are interested in preparing to take the Canine Good Citizen Test.

Fun & Games:   Learn how to practice manners in a fun supportive environment.  Learn some new games to reinforce good manners!  4 week session.

Requirements for Class Participation:

Proof of Distemper, Bordetella & Rabies Vaccination;   Rabies is not required for puppies under 5 months of age
